I wanted to address the 5 mistakes that brands and businesses make when advertising on Facebook and Instagram. These mistakes can prevent you from increasing sales and result in financial losses.
5 Important Mistakes Brands and Businesses Make When Advertising
Therefore, I want to draw your attention to these 5 important methods. ? I have prepared a comprehensive guide on this topic for you. ?
- Failure to Analyze the Target Audience: This is one of the biggest mistakes I have come across. You need to analyze your target audience well before advertising. You need to analyze what they like, what they read, and what problems they have in detail.
- Advertising on Instagram: When you advertise on Instagram, you cannot make detailed targeting. You may show your ad to an audience that is not interested in your product, resulting in a waste of the advertising budget.
- Emotional Approach to Advertising: This may seem a bit funny 🙂 But it’s an important issue. It is quite wrong to say “My clicks are very good, let my ad continue”. You should not approach your ads emotionally. If an ad is unproductive, close it, and don’t waste your advertising budget.
- Failure to Analyze Advertising Results: This is a situation I frequently encounter. When the ad ends, a new ad is created. However, you should analyze your advertising results in detail. Is the ad productive? How many impressions and clicks did it get? What is the cost per result, cpm-cpc cost, how much did you pay per cart, which cities did it come from, gender, etc. You need to analyze these results in detail. This also gives you information about your target audience.
- Constant Use of the Same Advertising Content: You should not use the same ad text, image/video repeatedly. Ad texts, images/videos, and target audience should be different. Multiple ad contents should be created and tested.
BONUS: I wanted to address the 5 important mistakes made while advertising, but I want to add one more important mistake as a bonus. Because; I think it’s a very important issue. You should never say “in my opinion” while advertising! Don’t advertise with phrases like “let’s target this age group”, “let’s spend this much budget”, “let’s only advertise to this city”. Test your ads, friends! You can analyze the results and act accordingly.
